8/Feb/2012 - Tine Roche of the Cambridge Cookery School is giving a Winter Cookery Demo - how to use winter seasonal ingredients to make gourmet food. Tine was the cookery teacher at Making the Most of Food in Jan last year (see below). She was brilliant: full of practical ideas for recipes which are both doable and delicious. Past Events

CaSFA had a great time at Feast East at Chilford Hall near Linton March 4th-5th. 172 people who came to the stall signed pledges to take specific actions on reducing food waste (read some of the ideas here) and at least 100 people listened to Marie-Ann Ha talk about food sustainability and nutrition issues (with a cookery demo thrown in) over the two days. Thanks to everyone who helped with the stall, and to everyone who came to visit it and a special thanks to Paul of Waterland Organics who donated the vegetable boxes for the prize draw - one went to a couple in Bar Hill and the other to Newmarket. The CaSFA stall was part funded by Love Food Hate Waste Comumnity Action Scheme. See some pictures here.
