We presume that anyone contributing to this site is honest and of good intent, so wish to have as few restrictions as possible within the law. The overall "feel" of the web site should be set by the community, not by the administrators, and we will only intervene to ensure the law is obeyed and the site operates smoothly. However, should such intervention be necessary we reserve the right to take any action we deem necessary including, but not restricted to, permanent deletion of content or removal of editing access from individuals. We also reserve the right to modify the Acceptable Use Policy at any time if it is felt necessary in the light of experience or changes in legislation. It is the responsibility of all contributors to comply with the latest version of the AUP at all times.

No content may be unlawful, defamatory, obscene, threatening, offensive, harmful or otherwise objectionable.

No content may violate the legal rights of others. This includes the right of privacy. In particular, personal information about minors (those aged under 18 years) must not be posted.

No content may promote an illegal act.

No content may be damaging to the operation of any computer.

No content may contain advertising unless the guidelines covering the particular page specifically allow it. Even then, advertisements must be restricted to a simple statement of goods or services provided and contact details of the supplier.

All users who can edit pages must have a valid email address which they can be contacted by, and must inform the administrators if it changes. Users whose do not respond to administration email in a timely fashion or whose email addresses bounce email may have their edit capability removed at the administrators sole discretion.

All users will keep their passwords secret from others, and will be held legally responsible for all content submitted under their user name.
