How to make a donation

There are various ways to make a donation to Transition Cambridge:

  • via the Local Giving site
  • by setting up a standing order on-line, using internet banking
  • by setting up a standing order by filling in a form and sending it to us
  • by sending us a cheque.

Donating via Local Giving

This is very easy to do and various forms of payment are accepted. The Local Giving site is here. Thanks for your support!

Setting up a standing order on-line

If you use internet banking, then you can set up a standing order on-line. Go to your payment page, click on "Set up a standing order", then enter the Transition Cambridge bank account details. You may be given the option to include a note to show us who the donation has come from - please put your name here (or "anon") as this will help us keep track of donations when we check our bank statement.

If you would like to become an official "Friend of Transition" (a new scheme we are setting up, which may eventually offer discounts with local businesses), please also e-mail us to let us know you have set up a standing order, as we won't be able to see your name and details from our bank statement.

Setting up a standing order using this form

Click here to download a form that you can fill in to set up a standing order between your bank and ours. Please send the form to:
Transition Cambridge,

Send us a donation by cheque

You can also send us a donation by cheque in the post, made payable to "Transition Cambridge", to the same address as above.

Thank you for your support!
