Cambridge Skillshare

Cambridge Skillshare and Repair, also known as Cambridgeshire Repair Café Network, is a partnership between Transition Cambridge and Cambridge Carbon Footprint. We run skillshare and repair events in and around Cambridge, including the hugely successful World's Biggest Repair Café ever in November 2017. Our next full Repair Café in Cambridge will be on 16 February 2019, venue and times to be confirmed.

We'll be doing sewing repairs and sewing machine repairs from 1.30pm - 4.30pm at the Circular Cambridge Sustainable Fashion Festival on Saturday 17 November at St Barnabas Church, Mill Road. Book your item here if you'd like to bring something along to be mended, or you can turn up on the day with your item and we'll fit you in.

Check the CircularCambridge website for details of upcoming Repair Cafés on 10 November in Fulbourn, 8 December in Barrington and 2 February in Sawston.

For details on the international repair movement see the Repair Cafe web-site, listen to Chris from Royston Repair Café in the BBC World Hacks series or read this Guardian article from 15 March 2018.
