Cambridge Resilience Web: Together We Can

Together we can plan and build a thriving future for Cambridge. Get Tickets

Seminar Series

Continuing the conversations started during our July 1st event, this seminar series is a collaboration between the Resilience Web, Transition Cambridge, and the Cambridge Doughnut, and is an opportunity to take a deeper dive into the changes that we want to see in Cambridge.

Focusing on one sector per week, we will start to think about how we can thrive within planetary boundaries following Kate Raworth’s Doughnut Economics model, and we’ll also map how the sector is vulnerable to emergencies like natural disasters that are likely to occur in the future. From this survey, we will identify feasible projects we could implement, including mapping projects that will track key indicators to influence local policy.

We welcome you to join us on this tour — together we can plan and build a thriving future for Cambridge.

Schedule

We meet fortnightly on Thursdays at 7:00pm. The first 6 sessions, running through the end of this year are scheduled below. You are welcome to come to all, or only to the sessions that speak to you.

Everyone is invited to research the sector in advance, and to share what they know (including their personal experiences) with the group. The learning and discussion will be captured, and shared more broadly with TC in the future.
