Welcome to the Well-Being group web-pages! The well-being group aims to support us through the transition at the emotional, psychological and spiritual levels. In other transition initiatives, it is often called the Heart and Soul group. We aim to create a warm, supportive atmosphere where everyone feels welcome.
Past events include a talk from Corrina about finding our passion, a taster session of Environmental Constellations by Kama, an evening of the Work that Reconnects from Debbie and Anna, a walk to Wendy with Gareth (picture here), and a social evening in Anna's garden. We hope to have lots more lovely events where we can get to know each other and support each other through this time of Transition. If you'd like to be added to our well-being mailing list, let Anna know your e-mail.
If you have know of other things that should be added to this page, please feel free to add them in yourself, or let us know!
The Wimpole Way is an ancient route, trodden long before the age of oil, and perhaps long after...\\
Now is the time, when bright flowers are blooming, the birds are singing ancient songs and the earth is calling for us not to forget about the vast source and beauty that is the land.. so lets find the joy in going!
The walk is about 15 miles along the Wimpole way towards Wendy Wood. We can stop along the way for rests and for a picnic lunch. Come along and help to celebrate the season, the land and to meet others interested in Transition, and/or just to enjoy the walk! For the return journey, we can either walk a few more miles to Royston train station or Gareth has offered to give people lifts there. We'll meet at 10:00am at the end of Adams Road, off Grange Road, where 'the Wimpole Way' begins - map here. We should be back at Cambridge train station by 6-8ish. We'll go ahead unless it's raining a lot. Bring a picnic lunch, drinks, waterproofs etc. Email us for more info, or call/text Anna on 07811 609561 on the day.
Please feel free to up-date this web-page, add your own ideas, or change it however you feel like! If you don't know the password, just e-mail Anna and she will give it to you. It's quite easy to add text etc - press EDIT, then just change the text, or there are notes and links at the bottom of the page that tell you how to do more complicated things like adding pictures etc.
