3rd-5th Sep: National Permaculture Convergence 2010

This fantastic and fun event only happens once every two years - don't miss it! The venue is Lambourne End Outdoor Centre, Lambourne End, Essex, RM4 1NB, one of our new LAND permaculture demonstration projects. Read more... It's three intense days of permaculture workshops, practicals, case studies, Diploma in Applied Permaculture Design presentations, networking, woodland walks, games, our AGM, eco-cinema, and special guest visitors. It's for members of the Permaculture Association, so if you're not currently an indiviula member, join now and then book your place at the convergence or if you are member of the Cambridge Transtion Permculture Group you can book through our membership group. There are 300 places and it's always fully booked. Tickets include 2 nights camping and all your meals from Friday dinner to Sunday lunch. Please tell us the names and contact details of everyone you are booking for. Full price adult ticket. Please pay an amount between £180 - £90, Kids' ticket. Thursday 7th Oct 10:00: Wild Food workshop

Wild Food at the Botanical Gardens Thursday October 7th 2010 10.00am - 4.pm Price: £45 per person. Jacky Sutton-Adam introduces Autumn nuts, roots and berries which can be healthy and interesting additions to a regular diet. The plants covered will include some less well known wild foods of the season and the day will include a visit around the Gardens to identify plants and where they grow. There will also be an opportunity to taste some wild food recipes.
