For many years we have been given the impression that recycling what we buy is the solution to our waste crisis; however,it's now clear that there are additional factors to consider and potentially better solutions.

At this event there will be talks, time for questions and a workshop where we can explore solutions together.

Guiding us through this complex topic and proposing a more conscious approach to consumption are:

  • Emma Thomas, Ecologist and Director of Full Circle
  • Jacky Sutton-Adam, co-owner of Cambridge Cheese Company
  • Birgitta Laurent, recycling coordinator | Greater Cambridge Shared Waste

You can hear a little from Emma and Jacky in our recent blog post: Plastics packaging – a view from retailers
