From 7.45 till 10.30ish, in the Cafe Project at 22 Jesus Lane. Come along to meet others interested in the transition to a low carbon world, and to discuss ideas for future Transition activities!
The Trumpington Community Orchard regular monthly maintenance day starts from 11am and at then at 12 noon we will traditionally toast the fruit trees with Wassail music, singing and hot spiced cider to help maintain fertility of the plants in the year ahead.

This film is a great introduction to the Transition movement, and features many of the existing Transition initiatives both in the UK and around the world. It's inspiring and fun, and is definitely worth seeing!
9pm, Friends Meeting House, Jesus Lane. Entrance free, but donations welcome. (The film lasts one hour and it's likely some people will head to the pub afterwards...)
Cambridge Carbon Footprint are about to launch a new series of their enduringly popular Carbon Conversations workshop series. Groups will be running all over the city starting in early January. Details can be found on their website: http://www.cambridgecarbonfootprint.org
Trumpington Allotment Society's next Seedy Sunday event is on Sunday 17th January at Trumpington Village Hall. 1.30 - 4pm. Last years event was a smash hit with over 100 people attending. More details can be found here
