Hi everyone,

This week Mark is offering us a chance to play a new game about climate change and peak oil on Thursday evening – come along and have a go! The food group is also meeting on Wednesday, and we have several more events planned for the autumn – info below…

  • Food group meeting this Wednesday, 8pm in the cafe
  • New climate change and peak oil game from Mark Skipper on Thursday, 8pm in the cafe
  • New book out: "Transition to Sustainability: Towards a Humane and Diverse World"

  • Food group meeting this Wednesday evening

The next meeting will be at 8 p.m. on Wednesday 24th September at the Transiton Cafe, 22a Jesus Lane.

  • Taking action over the global crises: The inner game.

Mark Skipper will be trialing a fun mini-workshop this Thursday at the Transition Cafe (22a Jesus Lane) from 8pm, on how we (and our friends, colleagues and families) respond to the threats of climate change and peak oil and, in particular, how and when we decide to take action. Everyone is invited to participate and to give constructive criticism on the ideas and exercises.

Drawing on his experiences of NLP and Non-violent Communication, Mark is developing this workshop, in collaboration with the Transition Cambridge Education Sub-group, as part of his project for the Education for Sustainability certificate course at Schumacher College in Devon.
