Bev is organising a singing evening on Wednesday September 3rd around 7.45pm at the Transition Cafe, 22a Jesus Lane. She'll bring some simple songs and she encourages everyone to bring songs they like or think that others will know. It will be very relaxed and people don't have to feel they are great singers to have a go!

  • Cambridge Energy Forum - 1 October 2008 Energy Debate

Continuing Energy Crises - Open Meeting and Discussion Their next event will be on Oct.1st 2008 in the newly-refurbished Union Society debating chamber. They will have Prof.Ian Fells, Prof. David Mackay and Fiona Harvey (Financial Times), among others. It will be the beginning of a 6-month initiative to take what they have brought together in Cambridge in the past 3 years, and make a bit more of a splash on the world scene as to what Cambridge people are doing to address the continuing intractable energy crises.

They are organising several relevant meetings - more info here: http://www.cambridgeenergy.com/index.php
