Transition Cambridge will be on holiday during August - our usual summer break. It's been a busy year and we have lots to celebrate. Our last event before the break will be our birthday party on 31st July. During the break some groups may still have some activities and events will still appear on our website in the usual way - so you can still check back here. (If you're submitting events, the response might be a bit slower than usual.) We'll be back in September, with regular newsletters, events, opportunities to get involved and our usual mix of sustainable fun!

As well as the official business of electing officers and presenting our financial accounts, there will be short presentations offering an insight into what we get up to across our different interest areas, a chance to shape the direction of TC in the coming year and of course, network and connect over a customary slice of cake and a cuppa. Save the date and join us!

Air travel is by far the most carbon intensive form of transport and the fastest growing source of carbon emissions. Remarkably, climate change is absent from any discussion around aviation expansion and aviation is absent from any discussions, agreements and targets around tackling climate change. Come and find out more and share ideas on what we can do locally, nationally and internationally to highlight these issues. You may want to leave 1st October free in your diary! If you have any questions email Sheena
