Friday 22nd March - Saturday 8th Jun: Water usage survey opens

online 10:00
The water group is keen to find out what water saving measures we can promote to help alleviate the problem of water shortage. This last winter has been wet but droughts are becoming frequent. Summer 2019 was particularly bad. Hence a survey: what are we already doing and can we encourage others to do it too? Please fill in the survey - and you can enter a prize draw for £30 shopping vouchers. Tell your friends and family - we all use water, not just in Cambridge.

ECCG is a magical meeting place for you and your friends, close to the centre of Cambridge. Enjoy chatting as you garden and relax. We meet as a group on Sunday mornings from 10.30 am to 12.30 or later but people can come individually or in groups whenever they like. We are just completing our 'Heads, Hearts and Hands' hut where we can learn, bond and do things together and have tea and cake too. Come and enjoy the space! More...

Monday 1st April: Easter Transition walk and picnic

Meet at Empty Common Community Garden (map link below) 11:00-14:30 add to google calendar
Our next Transition social gathering will include a walk (11-1ish, at a gentle pace) and a picnic lunch (1-2:30) at Empty Common Community Garden - come for either or both parts. Everyone is welcome, whether you're already involved in Transition activities, or are interested to meet us and find out more about what we do. If the weather is very bad, we'll postpone the walk but still meet for lunch in the lovely new hut at ECCG - please check this item on our website for any last minute changes. Please bring your own food and drink for the picnic, and maybe a picnic rug (there's also be chairs). Here is a map to find ECCG - you can get to the garden from the Brooklands Avenue junction with Trumpington Road (walk all the way along past the allotments), or from Kingfisher Way, or the footpath along the brook (you should be able to easily see us from the footpath).
