Coronavirus Response

Coronavirus Policy statement from Transition Cambridge (as of Monday 16 March 2020)

We don't wish to impose cancellation or postponement of Transition Cambridge events, however it is highly likely that many of our events will be cancelled or postponed. The organisers of our project groups are best placed to decide with their groups whether to postpone their meeting or event. Some Transition groups may implement specific precautionary measures at their gatherings which will be explained at their events.

Any cancellations of Transition Cambridge activities will appear on our events pages as soon as we hear.

We would like to remind everyone to take sensible precautions to protect themselves and those around them, for example, stay at home if you have recently travelled to any of the countries listed on the NHS website or if you have symptoms or live with or have been in contact with someone who has symptoms.

The current advice from Public Health England is to thoroughly and frequently wash your hands throughout the day and always after coughing and sneezing. Also to use and dispose of tissues immediately after use when sneezing or coughing.

We respect your decision to attend or avoid our events as you see fit, and ask that you consider the safety and well-being of others who may be at risk when deciding whether to attend a Transition Cambridge event or activity.

Our Mission
