Demain - or Tomorrow in English - is a feel-good story about the ways people are working to solve the ecological, economic and social crises that are afflicting the entire planet. After a special briefing for the journal Nature announced the possible extinction of a part of mankind before the end of the 21st century, filmmakers Cyril Dion and Mélanie Laurent carried out an investigation in ten different countries to figure out what may lead to this disaster and above all how to avoid it.
Following the film (hopefully inspired and enthused) you’ll have the opportunity to learn about groups on your doorstep, that may not have been aware of, who are already doing exciting, positive, sustainable work. There’ll be a chance to find out how you might get involved, should you wish to.
