Creating a Vision for Cambridge in 2030

Transition Cambridge's Vision for 2030

What do we want Cambridge to look like in 2030 and what role will Transition Cambridge play in bringing that vision to life? Over the past year we have been undergoing a process to develop this vision. We held two events to gather ideas and get people thinking about the kind of future we want. We invited participants to let their imagination run wild: "what would be your ideal, localised, resilient Cambridge in 2030?" If we can make imagine it, we can create it! Thanks to everyone who came for agreeing to share them, and to Liz, Jane and Stephanie for facilitating the evenings.

From these ideas we developed a document which serves as Transition Cambridge's Vision for 2030.

The document is a work in progress and we welcome suggestions for edits or further ideas for the vision if you were unable to attend one of the sessions eariler this year. That said, volunteers are definitely also welcome to help make those changes happen! Please send comments and offers of help to the visioning team.
