Learn how to: Grow your own vegetables

The Food Group offers learning and sharing opportunities for growers of all abilities.

These "Grow Your Own" sessions currently take place at Foster Road allotments in Trumpington, on a well-established organic plot growing vegetables, herbs and fruit in narrow bed and forest garden systems. Sessions are held approximately once a month on Saturday mornings during the growing season.

We can also offer, by arrangement, occasional mentoring sessions when you can shadow an experienced grower to get hands on experience and answers to any questions that come to mind.

If you are:

  • interested in taking part in these activities, or
  • an experienced grower willing to share your skills at another location in or near Cambridge

then please get in touch.
