Transition Training weekend in September 09

The training weekend in September 09 was fully booked, with lots of local participants and a few from further afield. We left feeling inspired and energised to set up more Transition projects in our local areas. Pictures and resources

Training in other locations

For information on training weekends being held in other locations, see the Transition Network training page. We hope to organise more training weekends in the future, so let us know if you are interested in attending one of these, or if you'd like to help organise one!

What is Transition Training?

Transition Training is a weekend workshop, provided by the Transition Network. It is a 2-day "fundamentals" course for those wishing to know how to get more involved with Transition, including how to set up, run, and maintain a successful transition initiative. It is packed with imaginative and inspiring ways to delve into both the theory and practice of Transition. It covers: the context of transition, the transition model, the main steps of transition, working out a plan of action for ourselves and our localities, the inner and outer aspects of transition, and how to give a Transition talk.

For more information about the training, have a look here. For a description of the content of the 2-day workshop, see here.
